Pinocchio’s Lie, 2020
Acrylic, wood, metal, fabric, RC radio
24” x 48” x 10”
Pinocchio’s Lie is an assemblage made to question the ‘live’ of Pinocchio’s hand, demanding power over the radio’s signal. While the frontal radio invites viewers to play with its joysticks and buttons, a peeping wooden hand gets hold of the antenna seeking control. Pinocchio’s Lie comments on the deceiving drivers and misleading forces behind capitalism.
